Come to Nantes for the 16th Assises des Déchets, a biennial reference event on the waste sector in France and Europe.
Since their first edition in 1991, the Waste Conferences continue to reinvent themselves. This nationwide event is a place for debate, proposals and information in a unique format. It is a meeting place for manufacturers, associations, local authorities, administrations and public bodies. The 16th edition will take place on 12 and 13 January 2022, in Nantes, in person but also in webinar for the plenary sessions.
The programme of this meeting is organised around the theme "Faster, stronger, more united: let's speed up the transition together! This edition is placed under the sign of the challenge: " It is urgent. The new generations demand it. It is the role of the Assises to bring the debate to where it counts, where the players in the sector are encountering difficulties, where economic issues meet societal challenges and new demands," says Thierry Meunier, President of the Assises nationales des déchets association and himself a representative of an industrial player.
The two-day debate will focus on the prospects forthe development of professions, innovations, successes and failures in the management of waste, as well as economic and regulatory levers...
Topical issues, concrete solutions, debates and proposals to do better. The morning of the second day will be devoted, as always, to the red thread: how to boost the ecological recovery plan from the point of view of waste, with the presence of the Ministry, and the afternoon will be an opportunity to return to the waste from and more globally during the COVID 19 pandemic.
