The 26th annual UN climate conference will take place this year in Glasgow from 31 October to 12 November 2021 under the UK Presidency and in partnership with Italy.
The COP26 summit will bring together parties to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The UK government is working around five campaigns for COP26:
