Micropollutants in water, a challenge for the living!

See you at the conference "Micropollutants in water, a challenge for the living" which will take place on 11 July 2022 at the Cité du vin in Bordeaux!

Objective:

To highlight new knowledge about these new pollutants as well as the levers for reducing their impact on ecosystems and living organisms.

Changes in our lifestyles and consumption patterns continue to produce new organic and inorganic pollutants that can have a significant impact on uses and ecosystems.

The presence of these micropollutants in aquatic environments is likely to have a toxic effect on living organisms, even at very low concentrations.

Initiated by the Adour-Garonne Water Agency and the French Office for Biodiversity in partnership with Bordeaux Metropole, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and the Strategic Committee for the Water Sector, the conference "Micropollutants in water, a challenge for living organisms" aims to highlight new knowledge, the link between land-based activities and water quality, including marine water, as well as the levers for reducing this pollution in line with the national ambition for an ecological transition.
