This year, 2021, Les Rencontres Associations et Philanthropes will change its name to Les Rencontres pour la Planète! A major annual event for the 1% community where environmental associations have the opportunity to pitch their project directly to sponsors, the Meetings for the Planet is a unique and unconventional fundraising event, a place for philanthropists and field actorsto share andexchange ideas.

FOR WHAT?
By making it easier for associations to raise funds, we increase their impact on the ground.
It is also an opportunity for the 1% collective and its peers - other key players in environmental philanthropy - to meet, debate and exchange views on issues that concern us all.
HOW?
About forty associations whose project has been pre-selected by a selection committee (1% team and volunteer members representing the whole collective), present it to philanthropists (foundations and companies) with a 15-minute pitch.
The best projects receive immediate funding, decided by the companies and patrons who have positioned themselves to support the themes, but also by 1% for the Planet France, which raises funds beforehand.
