Specialised in general relativity and black hole physics. French astrophysicist, director of the Grenoble-Alpes Centre for Theoretical Physics and researcher at the Grenoble Laboratory of Subatomic Physics and Cosmology within the Scientific Polygon. 

Aurélien Barrau is also a scientist committed to the planet, sustainable development and animal welfare. Winner of several scientific awards. Successful author of several popular books on cosmology(Big Bang and Beyond, Multiple universes, In the heart of black holes), author of the book The greatest challenge in the history of humanity published by Michel Lafon. He is co-author, with Louis Schweitzer, of Is the animal a man like any other?
