Committed entrepreneur, author and lecturer
A graduate in economics, political science (IEP Rennes) and journalism (CFJ Paris), Walter Bouvais began his career with several titles in the economic press. He became passionate about theenvironment and quickly became a specialist in sustainable development issues.
In 2003, he founded and directed the magazine Terra Eco. This magazine quickly became the French reference for the environmental press.
In 2018, he co-founded the mission-based company Open Lande. This "factory of evolutionary projects", is an ecosystem bringing together entrepreneurs, artists, freelancers and associations who want to make the ecological transition their business. To do this, Open Lande trains, accompanies and supports the bearers of projects with an environmental and social impact.
He was also co-founder and administrator of the French chapter of the 1% for the Planet Club (2014-2019), an international network created by Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia.
